I purchased this Classic Brands Adjustable Bed Frame but unfortunately broke the original remote it came with (which looks like this). Naturally this happened with the legs inclined so I'm now sleeping with my legs up. I found and purchased this remote from eBay due to the listing description and similarity to my original remote but the remote does not pair (instructions I followed).
The wireless control box that pairs with the remote is model KDDY109A-001 from Kaidi Electrical Inc. I reached out to Kaidi's customer service but haven't received a response. I found this Amazon listing for a remote that says it's compatible with control box KDDY109 but I'm not clear if that also means KDDY109A-001.
I'm desperate to find a replacement remote ASAP. Anyone know how I can track one down and confirm compatibility prior to purchase?
I have an adjustable base for my bed but it came with an non-smart controller. Just a simple IR remote controller with 4-5 functions. Any brilliant ideas to turn it into a smart controller that can be controlled with smartphone. I have very basic programming knowledge. I also have a raspberry pi that i use with 3D printer.
Thanks in advance.
I don't know the specific name of my bed, but I use a rize remote to move my bed's head and foot up and down. But for the past week, I haven't been able to do anything at all with it. I did what I mentioned in the title.
Also, probably off topic, but I contacted the matress company I bought this from and it turns out I am not covered whatsoever under any kind of warranty.
My adjustable bed has an RF remote, so I figured an RF blaster that is Alexa capable should allow me to control it, but the blaster makers (Bond, Broadlink) say no. Any ideas? I've got 30+ years of IT experience, but this kind of stuff is completely new to me.
The remote control for my adjustable bed has been wonky for several years. It started acting up less than a year after purchase. It's a basic, cheap remote probably made in the PRC Soochow Remote Factory #7. I looked up replacements and found them listed on eBay for between $350 - 400! They're also listed on furniture-focused website for similar. WTF?!
We accidentally unpaired our bedframe to our remote and cannot find anywhere on the internet or with mattress firm how to repair it. There is no learn button in the battery bank and it is a glass top you cannot press more than one button at a time on the remote.
Remote: richmat 190-0054 model number HJH173
Bedframe mattress firm 600
Any help is appreciated!
