I can answer a few of these. S-brands are no better or worse than any other brand, it just varies wildly by model. A lot of compressed (bed in a box) beds use high density foams because they have to survive compression. Flat mattresses don't. Also, compression degrades those foams so a 2lb foam that has never been compressed will outperform a 2lb foam that has. Anyway... That being said, this particular model is a halo or top model for Sealy. Gets the best components in the line. ComfortSense memory foam is a marketing term that can refer to a lot of different foams but they are all at least 2.5lbs. Any other foams in the stack are usually in the 1.5 to 1.8lb range. This also has the top innerspring unit (1090) in the Sealy portfolio. It's a tank. It has the same warranty as everything else (10 years) because that's what the retailers want. But Sealy advertises as part of their sell-in to retailers that these mattresses perform above and beyond in their testing protocols. 150k cycles on the 225lb Rollator test, which simulates 15 years of abuse. Also eligible for a warranty claim if they develop a depression of 3/4" or more. Details on the Sealy website if you want to check it out. Net/net, decide based on the bed, not the brand and make sure you trust whomever you purchase from to uphold the warranty. If you buy directly from Sealy, they service the warranty. If you buy from a retailer, they are responsible. This model is a great bed component-wise and I'd bet any Mattress Firm employees on here could comment on return rates they see. As for price, this bed is a fixed-price model so it'll be the same price anywhere you go. Dealers are given a $200 gift with purchase (GWP) allowance off of that price but it comes out of their pocket so they aren't obligated to give it to you. This bed is on promo for every major holiday (including Pres Day) for $200 off. $300 generally on Memorial and Labor Day (if last year holds). Good luck! I would avoid the Sealy pillow top models. There are so many customer reviews online of their pillow tops starting to develop a body impression where you normally sleep within a year or two. I’m considering some of their medium-to-medium firm models without a pillow top. I figure that those beds are less likely to develop those body impressions because of the firmer foam and lack of pillow top. More on reddit.com

I have the Sealy High Point Hybrid Plush King (14”). It has changed my life. Best investment I have ever made. I go to bed with a backache and wake up good as new. It doesn’t last all day because I am old and fat but that isn’t the mattress’ fault. For the first time since I bought it I have had a couple of nights where I can’t find a super comfortable position but I cracked a couple of ribs and it still good.
