Yes, I get SAD. Heavily. Some ideas to combat it: take vitamin D pills every day, start at the beginning of Autumn watch the weather, on clear sunny days try to spend a few hours outdoors (start in Autumn) go on winter hikes! These are beautiful, you stay warm, the trails are less crowded, and your brain gets all the good stuff to keep you going try and get up earlier in these months. It's tempting to sleep in but missing those first hours of light adds up over time. if you're lucky enough to have a garden, get into it. Learn what grows in Winter, consider a greenhouse if it's practical. Again, brain good stuff :) if possible, book a holiday or two somewhere cheap and sunny in August or Sept.
