What zero-turn lawn mower is best suited for my yard?
What is an ideal commercial zero-turn lawn mower?
What should I know before buying a zero-turn lawn mower?
I've been looking to switch to electric (Ego) and waiting on deals to buy the new equipment.
I just noticed the Ego LM2156 is on sale for $549 which is $200 off (Lowes).
Is this worth buying? Is it a good deal?
I know new mowers are set to be released next year so maybe it's worth waiting?
EDIT: It looks like one left at my local store so I placed an order and signed up for the credit card for another 20% ($100) off so it came to $475 with tax.
I have a 0.3 acre yard and am looking for recommendations for a good mower. I was looking for honda mowers but they stopped selling or making mowers this year. I'm looking for gas powered mowers only.
Any help would be much appreciated.
My yard is mostly flat except for the ditch area, which has about a 18° incline for about 10-15 feet. I have just been using my trimmer for this area when I have time, but I'm only home on the weekends and it takes about 2 full tanks of mixed fuel to do so, especially when its been a few weeks. It is too steep for my zero turn to cut it. A small portion of it, I was just basically facing downhill and letting it slide to the bottom, but id rather not do that and the rest of it is too steep to even do that bc the ditch is essentially a "V" and im afraid the mower will gain some speed and throw me off when it hits the ditch, let alone breaking my mower. Its a 2014 toro mustang 42" cut and my dad gave it to me when he bought his new mower.
So, im in the market for a push mower. I was hoping to find a cheap used walk behind zero turn since my uncle owns a scrapyard, but haven't found one yet and trimming ~300-400 ft x 10-15 ft area has not been fun, especially with only being home weekends LaughingOutLoud.
Anything will do as long as it will last me a good long while. I was hoping to only spend like $150, but I can't find anything cheaper than ~$250 so far.
I don't need anything fancy like self propelled, mulching, recycling, etc. Just a reliable old fashioned push mower will be more than good enough bc I can cut the hill lengthwise and be on mostly even ground the whole way rather than having to walk up/down the hill at all.
