I’m a corporate bi donkey who doesn’t do anything complicated and yet still creating content with stakeholders is even harder than it used to be. This is not because stakeholders aren’t technical( that hasn’t changed), but they just don’t have the systems and process knowledge that good stakeholders used to have anymore. I think because people just want to manage people and deal with soft bullshit, no one non technical knows anything anymore. This is my way of explaining two things Bi products need to become simpler - for the 80% of BI that is easy to do BI stacks are too complicated and the industry needs to adapt to this AI will not replace BI in any meaningful way because stakeholders and managers don’t know anything anymore These two things will be the new arms race in BI, as it’s the bulk of the business.
