Help what hdmi adapter do I get??
Just bought a Dynex (Best Buy) HDMI cable due to the low cost, but I'm experiencing some latency issues... Is this problem essentially price-related?
Whatever your problems is, it's not your HDMI cable. The cheapest cables work just as well as the most expensive.
I know that some HD TV's have latency with video, but other than that I can't think of anything that would be causing this issue.
There might be some software that you can run that will delay the audio out on your macbook, so you can sync it up, but google has no love for me right now.
More on reddit.comQuestion about DVI to HDMI to DVI again
haha... ok this is a problem I've been dealing with for the past year working on a video wall. I'll go ahead and say up front that I am just grad student not a professional at this but I'll give you what I know. Basically both DVI and HDMI are digital signals so there isn't much conversion to do, but after all of the surprises that I have had it might work.
Basically the thing that is working against you the most is length. So the best thing to do would be to get the length shorter if you could, or get a signal booster, which would degrade the signal some, but it would probably work at the length you've got, only problem is that they are kind of pricey. So pretty much my advice comes down to this: cut down on the cable length as much as you can, and then work on trying to cut down on the number of connections, then if need be add a signal booster. I'd run it by a professional first before buying a bunch of new hardware but thats going to be your best bet.
Take a professionals advice over mine but that should get you headed in the right direction

Idk if this is the right sub or even the right way to ask this ; My pc has no HDMI port but has this, and I've heard it could replace HDMI with an adapter. Is it true? If it is well I don't know what adapter to search for. Google Lens didn't really help. Anyone knows??
