Did you check the head intake and the neck for obstructions? Use a flashlight and straighten out the neck. I don't know if this model has a removable plate on the bottom for brushroll access but if it's possible, check for blockages and remove hair buildup at the ends. More on reddit.com

Check your roller and make sure it's not locked up. Check again for clogs. Check your filters. I don't think I've worked on that specific model but these are the steps I basically follow with other models and makes. If all of the above checks out you could try plugging the cleanerhead directly to the main body and taking the wand out of the process. If it works you have a bad wand. If not then you've mostly eliminated another part that can go bad. Good luck. More on reddit.com

Sometime within the past 2 years I bought a Shark WV201 (I cannot for the life of me remember where from and I don't have any email records) and it recently started acting up after trying to vacuum pellet stove soot that spilled out of my shop vac. The Shark got completely clogged up. I have since disassembled and cleaned out the interior.
The problem is that the vacuum will not charge. I bought a new battery and am still having the same issue. Before replacing the battery, I cleaned out the area where the battery goes, which was also full of soot dust.
When the vacuum is placed on the charging dock it will first light up like it's charging but then immediately start blinking to indicate the battery is dead. My best guess is that there's still a blockage in the vacuum where the battery connects but it's not somewhere I can easily reach. I've tried canned compressed air and rubbing alcohol. Since I can't find a record of my purchase, I can't reach out for help from Shark.
Does anybody have any other tips that I can try to fix it? The vacuum worked perfectly fine up until the soot episode and I'd hate to waste money replacing it if I don't need to.

Was working great up until a month ago when it started making a loud sound in the motor, as if it was struggling with a clog somewhere? It started spitting out/not picking up litter and small particles either. I checked the entire vacuum for clogs and cleaned all the filters. Any advice? I really can't afford another vacuum so soon...

Cordless vacuums are notorious for clogging, and Sharks are notorious for being hard to repair, so you’re in a bit of a pickle :p. I’d look at the intake in the floorhead, that’s usually where the clogs happen.
