August 9, 2023My experience with the Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum
Have you done the monthly maintenance of cleaning the filters yet? Hardly hassle free, theres 6 filters total which need regular cleaning. 3 in the vac, 3 in the dock. Any vac performs well when new, the true test is after 6 months to a year. Does it still work like new and is the maintenance needed to keep that performance unreasonable? I don't usually recommend these self empty sharks because of just how many items there are which need regular cleaning. More on reddit.com

I have a Shark; it's good enough. I needed more suction for carpets, so I got the Samsung. I appreciate knowing how many more minutes of each setting I have on the Samsung's battery charge & cleaning its rollers is a breeze. But I definitely prefer the Shark's mechanism for emptying the canister & attaching it to the wall instead of using a stand.
