Sadly it's not fixable. No parts are available. And you can't really tape it that well. The problem will just keep getting worse. This is a common problem with Sharks and the only solution is to toss it in the dumpster and go buy a fixable vacuum. I don't mean to sound cavalier about it but it's a problem we see in the shop all the time.
