We have this one in black and it’s FAR better than any Roomba we’ve had. We kept having issue sei to iRobot machines but this thing cleans like a boss. It mops like a king too. Also, I can’t believe how quiet it is compared to the Roomba. We’ve been pleasantly surprised. Really is NeverTouch. I love that it only picks up the mop pad when it needs it. Otherwise it leaves it in the base and dries it after using. I know folks complain about the app; and there are some funky things but overall, it’s been real solid. I have a little AV2001WD, no auto dump. It works OK for me. But I have all hardwood flooring so the mopping get used a lot. Only beef I have is it needs to hold more water. Now that said this is my first robo vac but I have other Shark products and they have given good service. I will agree the software could use a rewrite by someone who knows what they are doing and not just paid by the hour. More on reddit.com

Don’t buy a shark robot vacuum. You can get way better for the same price or cheaper. Shark has zero obstacle avoidance. The app sucks. Look up Dreame or Mova (dreames sub brand) on Amazon. Get one of those. This shark is trash.
