Consumer Reports has a ranking 11 corded stick vacuums, 10 of which are Sharks. There's not a lot of competition in the corded stick vacuum segment, most companies only make a cordless battery stick vacuum. Even so Shark is not a brand I recommend because they break quickly, many in just a few years. Shar's warranty only covers the suction motor, the brushroll motor, handle, hose on full size, are all considered wear items and are not warrantied. Shark sells very few replacement parts so repairing their vacuums is impossible or very expensive. If you really want a Shark I recommend getting a corded version for more power and no battery issues, avoid the duo clean brushrolls, they clean worse and have another gear that can break, and choose an upright because it has more power and it has a hepa filter. None of the Shark Rockets have a hepa filter. Shark Navigator Pro NV150C and Shark Navigator Liftaway Speed ZU560C . The uprights are very small for an upright so there's not much advantage to choosing a Rocket. If you're interested in a vacuum that you won't have to replace every couple year let me know your flooring type/mix, vacuuming needs, and budget I can recommend other vacuums. Henry, Miele, and Sebo are very good brands Hoover has some very affordable models too but not all Hoovers are recommended. Hope all of that helps. More on reddit.com
