The Shark IW1111 seems to have 2 chargers: Model: XCHRIW1000 and Model: XCHRGIW3000 . Follow the directions on the 2nd one to see if your battery is 21.6V and you need the 2nd charger. Hey all, this is a dumb question. I'm sorry to ask it.
We have a portable shark pet cordless stick, model WZ240 V5. In an unfortunate accident, our charger broke. I found one in the house that fit the vacuum, and plugged in, but didn't charge it overnight.
The back of the vacuum says it requires a DK33-248080H-U Dong Song charger. I'd rather run out to Walmart and buy a generic charger that fits, but if I really have to order a specific charger online, does anyone know what kind to get? Hi! I purchased the Shark IW111 detect pro cordless vacuum and it seems like the wrong charger/charging chord was provided. Hi Reddit,
I bought a Shark Cordless Detect Pro (IW1611) last year which is a great vacuum cleaner. However, I'd like to buy a spare charger for the battery unit, but it has been unavailable for well over a year as per comms with Shark's customer service team.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative charger online that would work with this vacuum cleaner? Could be eBay or Amazon. I could not find any viable ones online. I am also based in Australia - I'll see my options for international purchases.
I've also attached the nameplate of the charger below for reference.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You may be able to use a “universal “ laptop power supply if you can find matching specs and try the different pin adapters. You could try this 24V 2A center-positive laptop charger and see if it has a pin connector that fits the Shark: https://www.amazon.com/Padarsey-Universal-Adapters-Compatible-Notebook/dp/B07GVDL637 Return it if it doesn’t work. (it’s my understanding that it’s ok for the voltage to be slightly lower and the amperage to be slightly higher but not the reverse, if there are any electrical experts, please correct me if I’m wrong)
