I live in a small space with hard floors, so I don't necessarily need a full size vac. This plus an occasional sweeping works perfectly for me day to day. The upholstery attachment does a great job vacuuming the two rugs I have. My previous experience with handvacs is that they normally start losing battery and then just stop working in less than a year, but this has been going strong for me this entire time. I also forgot to clean out the filter for 2 years (oops), but it still worked lol. And then it worked SUPER GOOD once I cleaned that out I probably use this every other day to quickly go over the exposed hard floor areas that collect loose hairs and dust with the extended brush handle, and quickly sweep over the rugs once a week.
