March 16, 2024Is the color snap device pretty accurate? Does anyone have tips for the device? I’m not a painter if you couldn’t tell.
The Color Snap Pro is quite nice. It hooks up to my android real easy, unlike the regular Color Snap. I've had fun testing it around the store, and the color matches aren't bad. Honestly, though, if you're not a painter, you shouldn't buy it unless you plan on scanning everything in your house. It's easier to just bring a color sample sometimes. It's not worth $75/$80 first a homeowner for one project. More on reddit.com

What do you guys think about the Color Snap app? Do you actually recommend it to costumers? Do you use it when you can’t find a color? Is it worth it? The manager at my store says to tell homeowners about it as much as I can when appropriate, but I don’t see the use.

I love that thing. Sometimes I'll spend hours on it, looking at the colors. I tell everyone to use it.
