Loose-fitting wedding dresses... are they a thing?
Inspiration for summer wedding dresses (as a guest)?
Can you find flowery dresses made of nicer fabric? I've worn several super comfortable polished cotton frocks with floral prints and fit it nicely. Also, wear nice shoes and more expensive jewelry. Another thought-I usually look at the location to determine how fancy I'm expected to be.

Trying to decide if this dress would be appropriate to wear as a guest to an indoor wedding? Dress code says, “Ladies’ gowns and cocktail dresses both welcome”. I’m worried that it might be too much?

Hey! My fiancée and I are getting married and I'm having a really hard time finding a dress. Would really appreciate some advice!!!
I never wear dresses and really don't like to wear tight fitting clothes that touch my waist or boobs. Maybe an empire waist is a good choice for this? Any other boxy-type cut suggestions?
I would prefer something with t-shirt style sleeves. Strapless or sleeveless isn't really an option for me. And I kinda hate puff sleeves, which a lot of dresses seem to have. They feel a bit too girly for me.
For reference my fiancée chose the beautiful sleeveless dress in the first pic, it looks awesome on her 🥰🥰🥰 I'm looking for something that would go with it.
I attached some pics of dresses that are close to what I can maybe see myself wearing, but people keep telling me this type and fabric of dress is not fancy enough for a vride?
Budget is under $500 so I feel like I can't go to a real wedding dress shop, and probably wouldn't like how I look in any of the dresses anyways, so online might be my best bet.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for shops that sell this style of dress, or any way I could fancy this kind of dress up so it's bride-appropriate... I would so appreciate it!! Thank you!!
