Reusable silicone muffin liners: use alone or with metal muffin tray/cookie sheet?
You'll want to at least use a cookie sheet just for the ease of putting them in/ taking them out of the oven. A muffin tray might help them keep their shape if the silicone is on the thinner side (or if you're a better safe than sorry kind of person like me). But sturdy ones should be able to stand alone. I have reusable silicone muffin liners. I'm wondering what the difference would be between using them alone/freestanding, inside a metal muffin tray, and on top of a metal cookie sheet. Can anyone explain to me the effects of each method?
