As the title says, what are the best cockpits that are on the cheaper end of the scale?
For context, I have been rocking a G29 clamped to a desk with a desk chair for just under two years. Recently was lucky enough to get to try a higher end rig and could immediately feel the difference of having an actual cockpit over the current desk and chair on wheels setup. I’ve been looking at various cockpits on the low end of the scale like the Playseat challenge, NLR GT lite and the GT Omega ART and titan. Was initially convinced that I was going to go for one of the GT omegas as assumed there would be a lot of flex from the foldable rigs until I saw people saying the seats on the GT Omegas aren’t very comfy.
I know a lot of answers would be ‘wait and save a more expensive rig with a comfier chair’. Whilst I completely get this and would love for it to be an option, sim racing is still very much a casual hobby for me and due to other hobbies during the summer months, there will be long periods of time where I won’t be using the rig during a week (hence why I haven’t yet progressed from my current wheel mounted to a desk), therefore I don’t feel I can warrant spending the extra money on a more expensive rig and with no plans to replace my G29 anytime soon, I won’t have the issue of a wheel being too powerful for the rig.
I have also tried looking on eBay and Facebook marketplace to try and get a second hand, more solid rig on the cheap, but most of the ones coming up are the foldable rigs I’m already looking at or the Playseat Evolution, which I have already written off due to the bar for the wheel stand being between the legs and most likely getting in the way of the brake pedal.
So for those who have had cheaper rigs, how is the comfort on them? Which one is the best to go for?

The Ozone is great, I've been using one for almost two years now, and they make add-ons for flight stick mounts, as well as the gear shifter mounter doubling for your flight throttle mount. Check out the accessories.
