I’m curious about other simple and effective power sources that are out there for sf4. Every time I make a world I always run to geothermal power source because of this build I’ve perfected to fit into a small area and can be mass produced to create a giant power source.
Break down of the build: ⚫️The first chest(on the left) leads into a combustion generator fueled by blocks of charcoal.
🔵(Charcoal being the easiest accessible in early game since an abundance of wood = a fuel source/infinite charcoal glitch; cook wood to make charcoal, use charcoal as fuel source to cook more wood, and repeat)
⚫️Combustion generator fuels an auto user (auto user faces the cauldron that is sitting over a torch; auto user also has a cobblestone generator feeding it cobblestone stone)
⚫️Using fluid extraction cables, extraction lava from the cauldron to feed into the geothermal generator (geothermal generator can also later be upgraded to the upgradable geothermal generator for faster power production)
⚫️Geothermal generator feeds into energy transfer nodes allowing power to be fed to other machines via gps.
What other power sources are also simple to maintain while also being easy to build?

Skyfactory 4: Simple Geothermal Generator not converting lava to energy.
I'm not super familiar with the mod, but you might have toggled a redstone setting so it only works when it is receiving a redstone signal.
More on reddit.comHello all. I have a question. I have created a bunch of speed modifiers for my geothermal generator (Simple Generators) but after a certain point, it doesn't look like it's doing anything. Is there a cap on speed mods for the geothermal generator? Thanks in advance.
I'm having trouble with simple generators, the one i'm having trouble with is the simple Geothermal generator, i recently set up an automatic wireless system that inputs cobblestone into crucible which then travels through the fluid cables to fill it up, it was working a minute ago when i set it up but then it stopped suddenly and won't convert the lava into energy, i've disconnected all machines that could be wirelessly setup and i relogged into minecraft multiple time but no dice, is there a fix to this? i went through the cables and they are all filled with lava as are the crucibles but the generator isn't converting the lava into energy which is should be doing, if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, thank you.
I'm trying to do some calculations around how much i'm generating to adjust to my consumption, but can't find any info on the mod's page nor here.
I can't find it in the config files neither and i don't really know other ways of looking into it. Does anyone have some numbers?
I just made a geothermal generator from the mod simple generators and filled it with lava but it doesn't seem to generate any power... As you can see in the screenshot, the generator consumes the lava and the energy buffer stays empty. I tried connecting it with fluxducts but the block I connected it to still didn't receive any power. Does anyone know what I have done wrong?
NOTE: The green bar is not for power. It indicates when the next 40mb of lava will be consumed.
