Carvana for bad credit & repo
HELP? Any decent car lots that offer no down payments and work with bad credit?
Dealerships for bad credit in Houston? Don't try to talk me out of getting a new car, please. I've been working on my credit, my income is fine, I was just a stupid kid and I need a new car soon because mine is taking a shit.

So I am looking at purchasing from carvana. I have been looking at purchasing a car for about a year now. I had a company car but my contract ended and I'm doing school so I need something reliable. I have bad credit after Covid, divorce & some fraud so it's been a hassle going to major dealerships in the areas. I get pre approved for decent deals and I come in and the terms & everything is wild. I'm tired of getting screwed around and having them say "just come in and see what we can do" and I'm over dealing with salespeople. My friend got one from carvana and said it was easy with bad credit etc. with my trade in I had no down payment and a 27% which isn't that bad compared to what I've gone thru. I'm nervous about buying a car from online & going thru the process. Is it a streamline process? Do they try to haggle more $ out of you or is it a scam? I see different opinions but it seems like a good deal for the cars and deals they offer for bad credit. Is everyone approved? Is it a dealership or like cargurus?
I'm in a bad situation, and things just got worse. I do Instacart, DoorDash, Spark Delivery and sometimes Grub Hub, Roadie and Point Puck Up. This year has been hell in me starting in May they found a blood clot in my femoral artery, had to have surgery that night and spent a few days in the hospital, got back to work, getting ahead and then I fractured my ankle, which caused more time off work. Once I was able to get back out working my car had several things go wrong, including the catalytic converter. Finally got everything fixed, back to work and everything was looking up, until Tuesday night, it appears the transmission on my car maybe shot. Driving along and it seems like it just went in to neutral, got it towed home and it will not engage in any gear, including reverse. I am tapped out, my credit is shot due to life changes during covid. The only thing I have to offer is my "broken" car as a trade in on something. I will be able to make a monthly payment if I have reliable transportation so can actually work. Any suggestions on how I can get in to a reliable used car with no money down and my shitty credit?
