The wiki IME has a LOT of wrong info scattered around. For instance, just recently I read in there that the blue light experiment humans were called 'Group C' in the dialogue and got to thinking OK how did I miss that and does that means there was a Group A and a Group B, and if so what happened to them? But then I went back and carefully rewatched the ep and I am pretty sure the word said was "Cathy,' not "Group C." I suspect that wiki part was written before we had the subtitles and is just incorrect. So I would advise not to read too much into the wiki fandom mistakes, I really really doubt that Boom is giving them any upfront info and it's probs just another mistake.
