The company I work for full-time was approached by Skillsets Online to purchase their IT training program. I haven't found much about them and just one Reddit post that said they are owned by Skillsoft.
Pricing didn't seem terrible at $2995 (buy 1 year, get 2 free) and you get 2 concurrent seats. They have some sort of Anniversary Special going on.
I'm looking to focus on the security side of things and wasn't sure if something like Cybrary, ITProTV, Pluralsight, or CBTNuggets would be a better option. My boss really would probably do mostly SQL related stuff. I would also at times go through some Microsoft or networking training if it's available as well. The one thing that through me was the CISSP training they list says 2018. Have to verify what the latest training is for CISSP.
The only nice thing is we'd have the ability to give end-users access when needed at no additional cost. So let's say we wanted them to do training on Teams, we can email them and say can we get 6 extra seats for one week (I'd make sure this is in writing before anything would be signed).

I found the 901 and 902 courses to be sort of bad. It's obvious that the dude in 901 both knows a lot about the topic and doesn't know anything about teaching. 902 is underwhelming, too. Haven't tried the 1001 and 1002 courses.

I haven't seen it mentioned here. Is it worth it? Is it respected?
I am attempting a mid-life career shift into IT as my industry (live sound production) is basically dead right now. Currently I am taking Neil Anderson's CCNA course and I have already purchased Mike Meyer's A+ course on Udemy as well. After that, I dont really know where I would go. I do know I am interested in learning Linux and Python. (I also have a Rpi 4 to tinker with as a learning tool. Right now I am planning to set up Pihole, but any suggestions for other fun learning projects with it, I'm all ears.)
Recently a family member floated the idea of getting me a year's subscription to Pluralsight as a birthday present. They work for a govt staffing agency which gives a free subscription to Pluralsight to everyone in their org. They say basically everyone loves it.
Should I go for it? Or would the money be better spent on a different site like Skillsoft or different training materials? Or stick to Udemy?

I'm a newly promoted Infrastructure director at my company, as a manager I had been fighting for years to get more regular training for my team, and had very limited input into our budgeting process as a manager.
We received an actual 'paper flyer' for this company called Skillsets Online. (https://skillsetsonline.com/) I've never heard of them, so I wanted to drop a probe over here to see if anyone had experience with them. According to the flyer they offer a somewhat wide range of certification track content for what would amount to our entire IT team of 15 for the cost of a small number of individual CBT Nuggets subscriptions.
I found a couple of Reddit posts asking about them as well, but not much I would qualify as a service review, not can really find anything bad about them. their BBB listing has good reviews, but I take that with similar skepticism as I do for Amazon reviews.
Thanks for any input.

Hey OP! I’m a bit unfamiliar with Skillsets Online, however, if you’re still looking for CISSP training materials, perhaps I can help you out!
