This is my amber autocrafter .
The reason why it is so complex is that bonsais produce different amounts of resin and acorn. If you just pipe everything into the package controller it will fill up and your system will get blocked. To prevent this about 30% of the acorn get voided.
Am I just making this overcomplicated? How do you automate amber?
Don't void the excess acorns! Pipe them as-is to a Tinkers Melter or Smeltery for a 15% increase in iron production!
I haven't got to it yet but the Simple Storage Network exporters appear to have an upgrade to keep a specific number of an item in an inventory. I plan on using that to keep only a stack of acorn and stack of resin in each package controller.

So I’m fairly new to sky block, and I’ve been starting to automate things. The issue is that when using an auto crafter or packager to make amber, it always fills up with acorns and stops crafting. Any solutions?
Btw my current setup is 2 exporter cables hooked up to the crafter, putting in the acorn and resin. Then the auto crafter puts the items in a hopper which is imported to my simple storage system.
Hey guys,
So i'm trying to use packagers from cyclic to automate my amber production, however the problem i currently have is that they get filled up with acorns at some point. Does anybody know a way to improve this?
Hi,
at the moment i am in the midgame (i think so). I have serveral Hopping-Bonsais on FilingCabinets. Now i wanna automate my Amberproduction with Autocrafters. So i connected the FilingCabinet with an ExtractionCable (Resin and Arcon are whitelisted) and connected that to the Autocrafter.
My Problem: The cable pulls only one sort of item (for excample just Resin, like shown in the pictures below) till the Autocrafter is full with it. To craft the Amber it needs both items (Resin and Arcon).
Is there a cable or something with that i can set the amount of items transfered into the Autocrafter? Can i adjust the cable to transfer both items equally?
Ditch the Cyclic autocrafter for the Formulaic Assemblicator from Mekanism- it's got built-in overflow control and is much less buggy
You can use opaque item ducts and the retriever (at least that's what I used), remember to configure the Max Total Items in Inventory and set it to 64 so it won't overflow
Here is a tutorial on how to automate Amber packaging with Simple storage network and export cables. The mod is NOT buggy its just not as simple as it claims to be.
