December 2, 2023 - I had that problem with destabilized redstone before, but I noticed I could output from the seared faucet into a seared tank and it stays liquid if for some reason you need the liquid.

First time, With Prestidge on. I'm doing the quest to get the iron tree. I made a small smeltery, using the "mini-brain" block. But how do I remove the liquid iron from it? I looked at a drain block in creative, and it's locked by Prestidge.

Make a basin and just drain it in there like you are going to make a full block and break it and re place it down. That's what I had to do if I had extra because you can only have 1 type of liquid in the ceramic melter. Re read the question and I think what you are talking about is to actually pour the liquid onto the sapling. Create a casting table and right click it while holding the sappling. That will place it on the table and allow you to click on the drain (which should be located on the melter over the casting table). If you are familiar with tinkers its just like you would do when creating any cast except the sappling doesn't get destroyed and just becomes the new type.
How do I extract liquid experience from the melter?
To extract liquid experience from the melter, place a bucket on the casting table and right-click the faucet while the melter contains at least 1,000 millibuckets of liquid experience. Once poured, the bucket will convert into a usable bucket of liquid experience.

How do I use the melter and set it up properly? Also how to get the fluids out? I put mine about a pool of lava to get max heat to burn the acacia wood for amber, but it's full now and I dont know how to get the amber out to turn into crystalized amber. The info button for the melter is very vague.

Melter requires a heat source underneath, such as a Seared Tank, which can be filled with lava. To extract items, you need a Faucet (3 seared bricks in a -_- pattern, if i remember) and a casting table or casting basin. I recommend both, since you need a table to make sapling but a basin for blocks. I also recommend using the melter to upgrade to a full size Smeltery, asap, by melting Cobblestone into Seared Bricks.

I was wondering how I can do this because I don’t really want to go into the the nether right now since too many withers and blazes are spawning all the time and swarming me. And the recipe for soul sand says to cast regular sand with xp in the smeltery. But I don’t know how to do that or how to even drain my xp into a bucket.

You can make a Porcelain Tank and Tome of Knowledge. Hold left click to fill Tome of Knowledge and left click Porcelain Tank to fill with Experience from Tome of Knowledge.

One way to do it is to create a pylon that will suck away your xp and then you will bucket into a tank and put a faucet on it over a casting basin. Can also do it with a portable tank I believe too.
