I have had two made from old furniture. If there is a top drawer you must give it up. In one my carpenter cut a back section out of the second drawer. I used a vessel type sink so it looked like a wash bowl. I used a countertop stone slab for top, because it is smaller you can get a piece a a reasonable price and it is better if it gets wet. If you keep the wood top be sure to seal it with marine polyurethane. The rest of it I just gave a fresh coat of varnish. More on reddit.com

Any bath base cabinet will serve (21" depth). What you need for a vessel sink is a top that fits the cabinet. The top must have a 2" centered boring for the vessel drain and another single hole boring for the vessel faucet. The location of the hole for the faucet depends entirely on the dimensions of the vessel basin and the design of the faucet spout and must be calculated with care. Please move your towel bar. Some strategic shelving and as others said mounting the soap. If I were there, I would put some fairly narrow shelves on the right hand wall. The mouth wash and other dental stuff could go on those shelves. On the bottom shelf, I would put a hook or bar underneath it for the towel. The soap bar could rest on a small bowl or plate that’s on a small shelf. The soap bowl/plate would make it easier to clean. That shelf would go under the mirror.
