Going through an apprenticeship now will pay dividends down the road, even as an owner. Unless you are taking a hands off role, you would see some turnover buying a small company and making changes to the sales expectations. As I’m sure you know, many of these small companies lack the processes and procedures to really function without the top brass making decisions (probably a need you feel like you could fill). These decisions can be technical ones as well though. You would need strong leadership that you are 100% on the same page as, that has the experience in the field that you don’t, or a proven model that results is an easier day/ more money for the folks in the field.
