It's been posted a number of times, but perhaps someone has yet to see it. Great ideas, but the price tag on the items is simply outrageous. More for the type of people who cram into highly over priced, over populated parts of cities in tiny apartments than those trying to stay debt free by going with a tiny home. In my space I went with Home Reserve for my couches. They have all sorts of order specific (you pick the type and style of furniture piece, then select from dozens of fabrics as to what you want it made from) furniture to fit all sorts of spaces. All their pieces include built in storage under the seats, and are shipped to you in pieces (a box of fabric/foam and another of the wood parts), so it is very easy to get them in a small space even with awkward entrances. I went with them because I searched ALL over trying to find small (under 68" long and under 50" long) couches that were leather or some dog fur compatible surface, and were in my price range. When looking at building these myself I would have a hard time just sourcing the fabric and wood for what they charge. The two couches and ottoman I received were very easy to put together, are very comfy, and seem well designed. I love the storage under as well! I enjoy the pieces even more knowing they were made in the US by fairly paid workers and have a lower carbon footprint than ones shipped from overseas. More on reddit.com

Too many pieces can make a small space look smaller/cluttered. I lived in a studio before too, it can be hard to design for. What I would try to do is find furniture that can do double duty. Like a daybed that can double as a sofa. A fold away desk that you could also use as a bar. (I have one and love it!) A storage ottoman that could double as a coffee table or extra seating. I paid around $1200 for my couch for my first apartment. I've moved 3 times since then and have brought my couch with my every single time. Granted, I was mostly moving within the same metro area and its a loveseat couch but I think it was worth it! Do I think this couch will be with me much longer? Probably not, but I think it was worth the invest since it was nice to always have a couch ready for use every time I moved instead of waiting for a new couch to ship, which is known to take months recently. The best item that I purchased was expensive (~$200), but I absolutely love it. I have something very similar to [this] (http://www.hometone.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/clipboard_JpoaF_1333.jpg). My studio is small, but all of the pieces I purchased fit in nicely... and it's easy to redecorate... something that I've done 3 times. If I had larger furniture or furniture that wasn't collapsable I wouldn't have been able to do that.
