I recently had my backyard redone to add a patio. I’m thrilled with how it came out and wanted to share a mini review of my fire pit. I bought the Breeo X24 (https://i.imgur.com/iNyzZMo.jpg). I decided I didn’t want a built in fire pit because I wanted the opportunity to move it or rearrange the space. I didn’t like the feeling of being locked in.
The Breeo appealed to me because it’s “smoke less”. There are two companies that make fire pits like this, Breeo and Solostove.
I chose the Breeo because I thought the Breeo looked better and since it was heavier for the same size, I figure it was made out of more metal.
The “smoke less” design really works! It’s not magical and it still produces smoke but the secondary combustion does a great job of making the smoke cleaner. We never feel like we are downwind or have to move to get out of the smoke.
It takes a bit of learning to optimize the fire position for less smoke (always burn against a side) but it’s a small trade off compared to a normal pit. The Breeo also tends to run very hot and goes through wood faster than I think a traditional fire pit would.
Build quality is great, the inner barrel is raw steel, the outer barrel is corten weathering steel and the legs and rim are stainless. As long as I keep rain out of the inside, it should last me the rest of my life.
The only downside in my mind is the cost. At $600 (+$100 more for the lid) it’s a premium item for sure. It’ll outlive the cheaper fire pits but I could buy a new one of these each year for 20 years before I break even: https://www.homedepot.com/p/302583548
Still, it looks good, it manages smoke really well and I definitely think it’ll last me a while.

We're moving to a place soon where we could feasibly get a fire pit, so they're definitely on my mind. Thanks for the review!
I just received mine. Same model. I love it. Great fire, fast and the no smoke thing is legit. I would add to your review that it’s made in the USA so the quality is a bit better compared to the Solo, which is made in China, that I’ve seen. (Heavier gauge steel is one of the big differences) I do have one question for you — I’ve used mine once and there was good bit of ticking - expanding metal noise - did you notice that too and if so, did it go away with more use?
