I know this depends on so many factors, but would love to know generally what everyone’s rates are for running social media accounts. My services vary from just strategy recommendations to content creation to posting everything.
I typically charge around 3k/month for relatively full service social media marketing and management but have no idea if this is too high or too low.
For the sake of pay transparency, what do other freelancers charge?
How much to pay?
What are going rates for freelance social media and email marketing?
As a copyeditor I don't have much knowledge on rates for social media campaigns (maybe other copyeditors do), but r/freelance has lots of web and marketing professionals who may be more versed in these things so that might be a good place to ask this question!

If it's just posting and scheduling social media I would say about $13-$18 max, considering your not a "social media expert" It comes down to how much you value your time. I do this for a few clients and it is easy work in general so I tend not to charge my premium rate.
In all honest it is probably only 1-2 hours a week they are looking for, maybe say a flat rate of $25 a week and treat it as I can do this with a beer in front of the tv work. I use feedly to curate the content and buffer to post and schedule

Hello!
I am beginning the search for freelance social media help for a small brand within a global org. We already use someone who charges $60/hour worked and she creates 5 static posts a month for us (which are just cross posted on Facebook and Instagram). Based on the recent 3 months of billing, this brings out her per post cost to $83/post.
I have social media management experience and this feels like an exorbitant amount for what she actually does. We have all the templates built out, so she just creates the content and copy. Which is great! I need this task off my plate. However, most of the time I still spend time editing the graphics and the copy - even after providing further brand direction and feedback - after. Further, i do all the ideation, strategy, and schedule after approval.
My question is, as I begin the search for someone new… How much is an ideal per post fee? OR, what is the typical fee structure made up of?
I am willing to spend for an experienced professional. I just would much rather spend less on the static posts, and more on incorporating community management, and creative content creation (outside of templates) of videos into the new contract.
