We’ve had very good luck with their case goods - think TV stands, decorative dressers, shelves, etc. it’s all very heavy and well built.

We also bought an entire delivery sized truck full (30+ pieces) of patio furniture and we are on year 4 or 5 with it and it has been great.

Our last Costco furniture purchase was a top grain leather sectional for our basement. We’ve had it 2 years so far and it still looks and feels brand new.

Like anything, if you buy on the lower end of their price points, you should expect less than if you bought the more expensive pieces. Our sectional weighs almost 400 pounds and was close to $3500. They still sell the same one and it’s now $5100.

Typically a deeper couch is great for napping and lounging, a chaise is good. The typical top two brands are Lovesac and Flexsteel, but they’re pricey and not always sold by Costco. Lovesac has many stores around the US and I assume Flexsteel does too. I have a couch from Macy’s and it’s the Radley version. There’s a few styles that ship within a week, but if you wait a few months you can get custom ordered parts and colors. I have the plain sofa with a chaise and it works fine for my needs for 2 people. It’s a very deep couch and I have slept and napped on it many times as a 6’ tall, 180 lb person for reference. I just read you said leather, so I failed to read that. My parents have a Natuzzi couch of 25 years that’s still holding strong and my parents nap on it all the time. Their leather was great and it still the leather is doing fine! Could be filled more however. How deep the sofa is makes a huge difference along with the density of the bottom cushion as well as the back cushion. The back cushions are supposed to be a little bit softer since your body weight is only marginally going to be leaning on it. More on reddit.com
