What are some of the most reviewed products in Solo Stove Accessories?
Can Solo Stove Accessories be returned?
What is the most common feature for Solo Stove Accessories?
Just ordered my first solo stove, the bonfire. What accessories would you all recommend as must haves. I’m in line to get the lid, and am on the fence about the shelter.
So I got my solo stove and wanted to share how I view what is needed vs not to help save money or give a different view
Yukon 2.0
large size so fits logs up to 18 inches in it so no need to cut any down to size
removable ash catcher to make clean up a lot easier
I picked the colored outside look to avoid possibly burn looking marks on stainless Steel
Heat Deflector
to me this is a must if you plan on having family or friends around it to distribute the heat
Shield
this is supposed to help avoid any embers popping out and hitting anything you dont want it to hit.
it works as it should be here is why I don’t even use it now:
if you use it with the heat deflector it comes with a top part so it’s fully closed (the shield) to protect form embers. It makes it almost impossible to add logs to the first without taking off the heat deflector so you can remove the “lid” of the shield that is on to give you 100% coverage
if I could do it again I would not have purchased the shield since I’m not worried about embers and haven’t had any real ember problems.
The lid
if you don’t plan on buying the heat deflector or shield the lid is great since you put it on and no need to cover your solo stove
If you have the heat deflector then you have to remove the heat deflector to use lid then store the heat deflector
Cover - the cover is great if you don’t have the heat deflector. If you do have the heat deflector you don’t need the lid or cover - just go on Amazon and search for a round fire pit cover and you will find some that fit with the heat deflector on
Pellet adapter - works as it should but I find myself never doing pellets and only doing wood. This is total personal preference so that’s your call on what you use for burning
Torches - these are like tiki torches but way better constructed, look like mini solo stoves but use tiki fluid style to fuel not pellets - 100% suggest these to finish off the look.
Thought I would share to help everyone else. Cheers
Are there any places to buy cheaper accessories for Solo Stove brand fire pits? Items such as stand, lid, and ember shield?
I think Solo stoves look great. I wonder how they look over time. This has me wondering if I should get a chimnea or possible an “smokeless” insert for a paver/brick fire pit. Also I saw Duraflame has a Solo lookalike for $150 at Kohls (19”) and I am wondering if others like me are looking at less expensive options.
