Has anyone else had experience with the base plate of their bonfire doing this? We’ve used our pit roughly 3-4 times a month since we purchased it around Thanksgiving and we always make sure to keep it inside and in the carry bag when we are not using it. Is this something they’d even consider replacing? Kind of bummed as we really enjoy using it but the hole just keeps getting larger.

Damn, definitely contact solo stove. I used mine pretty regularly throughout the winter and most recently couple of weeks back. Mine looks pretty beat up too but no hole. Did you wash it with water by any chance? May be rusting because of that.

I have the original Bonfire, and I understand the newer Bonfire 2.0 added a removable tray and pan to make ash removal easier. Since the dimensions of the stove didn't change, is there any place to buy those components? It doesn't appear to be an option on the Solostove site.

Get the pellet adapter. While it won’t catch all the ash, it holds onto most of it.

The bottom of the inside of the drum changed completely from 1.0 to 2.0. You would not be able to just lay in the 2.0 ash tray/grate. As someone else said, a pellet adapter might help take care of some of it.
