Does the Canyon come with a cover?
Are the fire pits stationary, or can they be moved?
How much wood does my fire pit take?
Does anyone here have the Canyon 2.0? Got one from the family as a new home gift but I didn’t realize how incredibly massive this thing would be until it showed up on my doorstep.
Wondering what wood burn looks like.

How much wood do you burn on average per session?

How much pellets are you burning through a session?

How close can you stand to a full burn without having to worry. I’ve got small kids so now I’m wondering if I need to spend $500 to get the surround from Solo Stove.
I’ve looked online but most all of the reviews and posts are about the Bonfire and Yukon. But I’ve got the massive Canyon. Any and all help is welcomed. Also, if anyone has recommendations on pellets let me know. I’ve seen them at Costco, Lowe’s and Home Depot and wonder how they all compare. Especially when Solo Stove sells their own.
The difference between oh and ah?
Looking at replacing a traditional outdoor fire pit with a solo stove. The current bowl shaped pit is almost 48” in diameter, which doesn’t matter a crazy amount because I can barely get enough airflow to get a good fire rolling in half of it.
Other than liking the Solo stove product, I am mainly interested in replacing the current fire pit because I have a toddler, and I like the idea of having the surround, which would give me 2 seconds to stop him from jumping in the fire vice the zero margin of error I have now. Also, having a place to put a beverage would be nice. My only wish, is the surround has storage for tools.
All that said, I like the idea of more space, the Canyon has an interior diameter of 27.5” while the Yukon “only” has 23”. I can appreciate the goal is not to be able to lay the wood flat in the stove, but 23” just seems restrictive. I know plenty of people have them, and they obviously work.
I hate the fact that to get a Canyon, I have to go to a third party, and I hate even more that to buy one (at least what I have found) is it comes in a bundle with a stand and cover, all things useless to me because I can’t use them with the surround.
I hate that the surround for the Yukon is the same as the canyon, because I just think that means there is a 1.5 inch gap between the stove and surround all around.
So, Canyon, and Yukon 30” owners, is it worth it? Yukon owners, do you ever want for 4.25 more inches?
Breeo released a 42” fire pit, do you think solo stove will make a larger pit?
The Canyon was slightly larger than the Yukon. They stopped selling it so my guess would be no. The Yukon already fits standard logs well and burns through wood quickly. You can easily fit 6-8 people around it not sure why you would want a bigger pit.
Breeo..Made in America. Definitely my next firepit.
Looking to buy our first solo stove and between the Yukon or Canyon. I’m reading most reviews on the Yukon but my husband wanted the biggest one. Pros and cons? And must have accessories? We would like to have our own surround built to match the nearby retaining wall.
Hi folks - I have a 30" Yukon, they call it the Canyon now, and I ordered a heat deflector for it. My own fault for not reading more carefully, but I didn't realize the Canyon deflector only technically fits the Yukon 27" model. They sent me an adapter ring that effectively necks down the opening to the 27" model, but the legs on the deflector don't seem to sit properly, it always has one that is just half on the edge of the adapter ring and it ends up wanting to slip off and tilt easily.
I also ordered the Lid, but now it feels silly because I can't use the 30" lid with the 27" adapter, and I don't relish the idea of having to grab the adapter ring and take it off while hot to put the 30" ring on so I can use the Lid. Apparently Solo Stove doesn't offer returns/exchanges, they were very responsive to emails but unfortunately my attempts to get a 27" Lid exchanged won't go anywhere.
I was wondering if anyone with a Canyon has modified or bent the legs in such a way that they can span the 30" model's ring? I was going to start playing around with it but was hoping someone might already have a solution before I beat things up haha.
Thanks!
