July 21, 2023 - It features the same smokeless tech as Solo’s full-size stoves but in a compact body. It’s also a fun piece to have on hand to set up the kids to roast s’mores rather than light a large fire. It’s the perfect size to place on an outdoor tabletop and simple enough for older kids and teens to safely fire up with minimal adult supervision. The Mesa XL with the accessory kit makes a wonderful gift that an entire family can enjoy; it’s also a good pick as a present for anyone who’s hard to buy for.

Both Mesa and Mesa XL are very easy to light, will have about the same flame height when burning, and are extremely portable and functional for your outdoor spaces!

Set up was plain and simple. The Mesa XL is easy to light using wood or pellets. This stove gives of just the right amount of heat & warmth while watching football in the outdoor Man Cave.

May 31, 2023 - Pellet options for the Mesa XL are not really a selling point for me and I think the pellets are better left to the Solo Stove Tower Patio Heater where the burn time is 3 hours compared to a relatively shorter time in the Mesa XL, requiring constant feeding and smokey possibilities.
