August 26, 2023Lost my heat deflector clip
The heat deflector stands are not up to typical Solo quality . They are near impossible to get on correctly then they don’t hold well. I have a Yukon with a surround and my kids and Grandkids take the heat deflector off as they say it makes the stove smoke. My son in law who is a capable guy says the heat deflector causes back pressure in the stove thus making it smoke more. It does reflect the heat but the stove is great without it. I would not buy it again and it is expensive. It is always covered in a very thick soot. Don’t get me wrong I am a Solo fan. They make some great products. More on reddit.com

The fabric part of my solo stove surround got burned and has a hole in it (damn kids messing around!) Does anyone know if I can purchase a replacement of just the fabric part? I don’t want to pay $$$ for an entire replacement of the surround.

I had the same issue, and just reached out to Solo Stove. I've had good luck with their customer service previously. FWIW though, I was bummed when I received the surround and found it to be made of fabric and not metal. For whatever reason, that didn't click in my head when I was looking at the product photos. Seems strange to make a heat/fire protection ring out of flammable materials. Anyone know if someone is making metal replacements for the fabric parts?

Hey all, new parent so my mind is all over the place. In the process of storing my heat deflector over the summer I lost one of the legs. Anyone know of a way to buy a single leg or replacement legs? I’ll be contacting solo stove when the weekend is over but I only have their bot for now and the replacement parts aren’t for heat deflectors. Fire season is here for our state all of a sudden. I appreciate the help.
