It does some auto-auth magic within CI. For the dev machines they create a personal access token in their account profile.

Nothing enterprise-grade will be free. Today the 2 main actors are Artifactory and Nexus. But if you move completely to container-based solutions, you don't need any of them (even if they also support it) and can go for any package solution, that your CICD tool gives (dockerhub, github pacakges, gitlab) or go for harbor.io More on reddit.com

Hi everyone,
I’m considering purchasing Sonatype Nexus Repository Pro (Self-Hosted) through the AWS Marketplace, but I have some questions about the pricing. The price listed is $145 for a 12-month contract, which seems very low compared to what I expected for a Nexus license with at least 35 users.
Is there something I'm missing here? Is the $145 price really for the entire 12-month period, or are there additional costs I should be aware of (e.g., per-user fees, support, or any specific usage limits)? If anyone has experience with this pricing model, your insights would be greatly appreciated!
