August 1, 2023 - Sure, there were plenty of clones out there from all sorts of different companies — some good and some bad — but Sony always had the best ones in my humble opinion. A Walkman from the early 90s and a Discman from the mid 90s. They even kept up appearances as the styles changed in the tech aesthetic of the late 90s and early 2000s. A sport Walkman from the late 90s and a Discman from the early 2000s. I had a black Discman like this and it was by far my favorite portable CD player ever.
