The A Series has been marketed since 2005, initially as the top spec Walkman players and since 2014 as a mid-range following the introduction of the ZX Series. The "A" originally stood for "All in one, Advanced, and Attractive". The A Series digital music player was introduced on September 8, 2005. Finally managed to upgrade to Walkman One By MrWalkman and figured out how the sittings file works. The spectrum analyzer and level meters are practically useless, because the screen turns off after 30 seconds, but they look VERY cool!!!

The screen off timer can be changed within the settings. Not through the setting file but in the device settings. Incase you didnt know just for some more customization theres also a Hi-Gain option within the device settings because it was ported from the WM1 series. The other option doesnt work since theres no 4.4mm port.

Hi, I'm in the process of getting a new music player to replace my old ipod touch and am interested in getting a sony walkman this time around, I can get either the NW-A55 or A55L for the same price, but I can't really find much information about the difference between the two? Or is it even worth getting the NW-A45 for cheaper or would that be a considerable downgrade?
