I got an a306 yesterday and the first thing I noticed is how quickly the battery ran down. It was really surprising. I had the wi-fi on but not Bluetooth and it was going down at a rapid pace, even playing stored songs. Am I missing something? I was getting estimates of 7 hours after a full charge. I thought it was upwards of 32hours? I haven’t used it enough to entirely run the batt down, I’ll try tomorrow now that I’ve disabled most of the android apps (I just want a music player). Could the batt meter be off? Or do I have a faulty device?
Basically what the title says. I held off purchasing the A306 for some time since it was not very well received by the community, at least from my research. Most complaints include laggy controls, device heating up from playing and terrible battery life.
Well life changed and I decided to get one anyway. Received it today and was decently impressed with the device, it suits my needs and I am pretty happy with the purchase.
I went with the Chinese version, since 1. It is uncapped like the Japanese version and 2. The system is cleaner since it comes with zero google services. (thanks ccp/s)
I have been playing 24 bit 48khz flac files @70 volumn with iems, all sound tuning options off. The battery seems rock solid at least for the hour.
I'm curious if this battery can be put in a Sony NW-105 and how much it would affect battery life?
