December 31, 2023 - So, is the UTM doing the man-in-the-middle thing by hosting the certs, accepting the HTTPS traffic and forwarding it to the internal web server via port 80? Can I get the same functionality with pfSense, with HTTPS traffic? Contrary to what some may think, I have been searching my butt off trying to answer my own question but I'm still confused. In pfSense, can IPS be tuned per server/web app? In Sophos UTM's WAF, you can disable different IPS rules and add exceptions for each web app behind the UTM even if they are on the same interface.

Hi all,

As a home power user i've been running UTM v9 on a whitebox for 6+ months. I've just returned from a holiday and noticed my license has apparently expired and almost all the features that were previously working are no-longer functional. I am using <50 ips.

I've generated a new free license here - https://myutm.sophos.com/ which shows as "FULL" "Unlimited" but when uploading the license, all the features are still showing as "disabled".

As a home user is my only option to spend $135 a year and get an upgrade license here?

When you originally signed up, you should have gotten a license file sent to your email. That license should be good for either 1 or 2 years, IIRC, and only have like 5 things disabled. Might double check and make sure that license is the one applied or reapply it. I never could get the license from myutm to work properly until my home one expired a d I was allowed to generate a new one.
