December 4, 2018 - In the Bible, there are certain passages we refer to as “mysteries” – portions of the Bible that God veils for a time, but then – at just the right time – God pulls the veil across, and the truth is revealed to us. I recently had one of these “mysteries” shown to me. While studying Revelation 5 – a passage I’ve read and taught several times – for the first time, I came to the realization that the word “myriad” literally means the number 10,000.

September 7, 2022 -
I’ve noticed the correct use of “myriad” is something many people, even native English speakers, struggle with. It should be used in the same way as “many”. So, just as you don’t say “there have been a many of events”, you don’t say “there have been a myriad of events”. It’s just “there have been myriad events”. Cheers!

Nope, sorry, both "myriad events" (where "myriad" is an adjective) and "a myriad of events" (where "myriad" is a noun) are grammatically correct (and note that the noun is actually a lot older than the adjective): https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/myriad https://www.writersdigest.com/write-better-fiction/myriad-vs-myriad-of-grammar-rules#:~:text=Here's%20a%20way%20to%20keep,%2C%22%20without%20the%20extra%20words . https://www.quickanddirtytips.com/articles/myriad-or-a-myriad-of/
