a myriad of angels
December 4, 2018 - Now, in the ancient world, 10,000 was the highest number they used; and we see this in Revelation 5:11, when the Apostle John sees in his vision "myriads" of angels (the passage actually reads “ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands”, which means the angels literally coat the sky), as they join both the Church and the Cherubim and other beings in praising Jesus (in His Godlike form), as He sits on His throne.

r/grammar on Reddit: Friendly explanation - use of “myriad”
September 7, 2022 -
I’ve noticed the correct use of “myriad” is something many people, even native English speakers, struggle with. It should be used in the same way as “many”. So, just as you don’t say “there have been a many of events”, you don’t say “there have been a myriad of events”. It’s just “there have been myriad events”. Cheers!
