Yo, I just wanted to quickly recommend the Spigen Glass tR EZ Fit (2 Pack) screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro. It costs around $25, and honestly, it saved my phone.
I was just chilling, typing on Discord, when out of nowhere, my not so smart friend decided to throw his 5kg backpack right onto my phone. The phone was only about half a meter off the ground and flew into the wall at like 5km/h.
Thanks to the Spigen screen protector and my original Apple case, my iPhone 16 Pro survived without a scratch.
Again, this isn’t some paid promo – just sharing a life-saving experience.
Also, here are some pics.
I listened to all the advice on here and everyones praises. An old one from another brand I used on an older iphone that wasnt spigen was literally perfect.
The adhesive on these screen protectors leaks slightly around the edges or something enough to have little specs of dust or small strands attach all around the edges of it.
Really annoying and never had that issue with other screen protectors!
Dont know what all the praises were about

For my iPhone 16 (not pro or max) I got the Spigen GlasTR EZ FIT from amazon and the coverage is much worse than my last phone (iPhone 13). The glass just covers the usable screen and doesn’t go over closer to the edge of the screen like most other protectors I’ve used. Has anyone else use this particular screen protector on your iPhone 16 and what is yours like? Is there another screen protector that you know of that goes much closer to the edges of the screen?
Waiting for my 16 Pro to arrive and looking to get a screen protector.
I've used the Spigen ones on my last 2 phones and they've been great.
But I've been seeing people complain about issues with them as well as other brands on the 16 Pro.
Also seen claims that Spigen is aware of issues and they are working on a fix (not sure if true)
Any go to ones that you guys aren't having problems with this year?
Will be my first upgrade in a while, wondering what brands everyone recommends/uses for cases and tempered screen protectors. I don’t mind spending a little extra for good quality but I’ve heard to stay away from Apple’s own cases.
Applied this screen protector last night and am quite pleased with the application. Would rather not have it on, but am bothered enough by the nicks and scratches you can get without it. It is perfectly centered on my device and goes just past the screen into the bezels.
Truly easy installation with the convenient “installation pad”, dust stickers, cleaning cloth, and tool to remove any bubbles.
I have always used Spigen screen protector and loved them!
I just applied the ones I ordered for 16 Pro, they arrived last week. Somehow they are pretty thick and attracting lot of dust and weird feel when swiping up.
Did Spigen make them thicker this year?
I have the same observations. Really disappointing, thinking about removing it and getting the dbrand one
We've heard reports about the touch sensitivity with the iPhone 16 itself having issues, which could be the cause of the weirdness when swiping. As for the dust, we'll send over a chat message to see how we can help.
In your opinion, which one is the better screen protector (Torras or Spigen) and why?
I wasted 4 screen protectors of two different brands so far, one of them being Spigen, which before never disappointed. But they all don’t stick around the edges. There is always some small line where it won’t stay on.
Never had that problem before. I don’t like the full screen screen protectors, which cover the rounded edges of the phone. Partly because it doesn’t go well with the case, partly because they tend to collect dust under the rounded edge part of the screen protector. But most of the available ones on Amazon seem to be full screen, so finding non full screen ones was hard enough. Now I can’t even find one that fits.
Any recommendations?
Hey guys, was just wondering if any had any glass screen protector recommendations. Is there actually a difference between cheap and expensive screen protectors, as I have always just got whatever is the cheapest glass protectors from eBay.
I do not know if its only me. But due to extreme less bezel and screen being just so thin at edge. Spigen screen protector is having hard tome sticking at edges. And i am observing that halo. Let me know if someone else sees this
I browsed through a lot of reddit posts and amazon reviews for the 15 pro to determine which screen protector to buy for the 16.
Basically Spigen, ESR are alright but have cons - either no rounded edges, screen coverage is not good, black borders are too big; best out of them all seems to be Torras. However, Torras has black borders around the edges of the screen protector, which was apparantly fine for the 15, but now that the bezels are smaller, there is the concern that the protector will cover the screen. mitigating the improvements.
Best option is to get a protector with rounded edges and no black border but it doesn't seem to exist.
Any info or suggestions?
I got my iPhone 16 Pro back in December, and I work around a construction site. My current screen protector from Verizon has already cracked—probably because of the new camera button slot on the case I chose. (I’m upgrading to a case with better protection soon.)
Now, I’m looking to replace my screen protector and want to pick something more reliable than what I grabbed at the store. I’ve seen a lot of praise for Vionentus screen protectors, but I’m curious about their Privacy Screen Protector for the iPhone 16 series. I know privacy screens can be hit or miss, so I’d love to hear if anyone here has tried it. Would you recommend it, or should I stick with their standard protectors? Or another offering entirely?
Thanks in advance for your input!
I’ve literally never cracked a screen protector more than my iPhone 16 pro. It’s like those pressure cracks on the edges from in the pocket (probably from keys) Never have had this issue with my 12 which I had before. Any good recommendations for a good protector?
Hi,
iPhone 16 Pro Max on the way ... I have read a lot of topics on here about screen protectors. This is what I found out so far:
Spigen EZ Fit: has currently problems with sticking on the edges, bad customer support
ZAGG: expensive and some report problems
Belkin: expensive and collects dust like crazy
Torras: black borders around
ESR: Rainbow effects, sharp edges
Flolab: Has problems with the slightly curved screens and the bezels (they said update is coming soon)
...
So right now I am not even sure what the current situation is with these protectors. They range from 5$ to 50$ a piece and they seem to get updated in the next couple of weeks because they had problems with apples thinner borders.
What is the current best bang/buck screen protector for 16 Pro (Max)?
EDIT: Please don't recommend brands or modells of protectors you use on your iphone 15s or 14s or so on because we are talking about 16 Pro (Max) here ... It seems that companies have troubles with the new 16 (!) model specs.
I’ve read Spigen has some good screen protectors, the one in the Apple Store are from Belkin. Still trying to decide. What’s your pick and why?
