Poll: Spigen Slim Armor vs. Speck Candyshell vs. Otterbox Commuter

I have now tried both the Spigen Tough Armor and the Otterbox Defender cases for the s23 Ultra. I tried the Spigen case first. I was afraid it was going to be slippery but it was much better than I expected. The case has a very clean look and is comfortable to hold.
But I worry about dropping the phone, which I do occasionally, so decided to try the Otterbox Defender. The Defender is about 5 mm longer and wider than the spigen case, and about 2 mm taller. So there's presumably more protection offered. However, on both cases the sides are barely above the screen. The top and bottom edges of the Defender are taller so if I put the phone screen down, the screen is further from the table than with the spigen. I suspect if I put a screen protector on the phone, that the sides might be even with the screen.
Overall, the spigen is lighter, has a smoother grip, goes in and out of my pocket easier, and has a more elegant feel. The Otterbox feels "tougher" and doesn't slip at all. If it weren't for my concern about drops, I would stick with the spigen. I'll use the Defender for a while and see how I feel in a week or so.
I work outside in construction and need something strong. The Defender is big and bulky, but I'm not sure about the protection level. Tough Armor has a good reputation for protection, but is it as strong due to the difference in bulk?
So I've been an Otterbox Defender fan for quite a few years now, but it looks like (at least from their images) they aren't using the inner shell and it's just the snap on kind of case like everyone else has and this kind of turns me off now.
Was looking at the Spigen Neo Hybrid but have never used any case but Otterbox. Would really like some input to get an idea if I should just stick with Otterbox or go Spigen this time around.
