I've been reading everyone's rave reviews of o-cedar's spin mop system, and while I'm excited to purchase it or something similar, I'm a little concerned about the environmental footprint of the microfiber mop heads that fit the o-cedar mop. And when I googled for more information, it seems like a cotton mop head isn't as efficient or effective of a cleaning material as microfiber, and it could also leave streaks/loose material behind.
My two questions are:
-
Is there a highly appreciated spin mop system that uses non-plastic mop head materials I could look into?
-
If not, what are people who are similarly worried doing? I've seen some posts about people putting cotton cloths on swiffer handles - is that basically the best option?
Thank you in advance!
