July 28, 2016split king bed experience? Good or bad?
I love my split king. I sleep better and we keep a few inch gap on our adjustable frames. I ruin mattresses and she doesn't.. I bought a 4.6k intellibed midnight and she is still on last year's purple 4 and my old one is in the trash. For sex it kinda sucks but I'd rather sleep perfectly then worry about that. My wife is a crazy sleeper. And now I sleep better without disturbance. More on reddit.com

I have the split mattress from Home of Wool and I am very happy with it. They put zippers in between both pieces (both on the top side and the bottom one) and there is no gap in the middle. The mattresses are on the firm side, very supprotive and their customer service is excellent. More on reddit.com

We got a split king Dreamcloud mattress and really hate the full split setup with a huge canyon sized gap in the middle.
We are thinking of returning it and replacing it with a split top mattress as we need the adjustability for my wife's heartburn but we are thinking the split top (flex top) style will be much better as at minimum the beds will stop sliding apart all the time.
I am having a really hard time finding split top king sized mattresses. Figured I come here and see if anyone has some recommendations. Our budget is 4k for the mattress.
