Split king set up recommendations
Have a split king and I hate it. Pain in the butt to make, seems like less room because of the split in the middle, sheet sets are expensive, and it’s a “your side or mine” conversation which kind of kills the mood. You basically are trying to have marital time in your college dorm bed. (Twin XL). They are also waaaay more expensive. Wouldn’t do it again for any reason. If you do, the best sheets I have gotten for mine are from tempur. The band that helps keep the bottom sheet on makes them great and helps when it comes to making the bed. Sometimes during back to school season, I snag some cheap twin XL sheet sets to use for the bottom sheets and then either the coordinating king top sheet or just a plain color top sheet that can be purchased as a separate.

We are looking to get a split king adjustable bed. My fiance moves a lot in his sleep and sometimes snores and I’m a light sleeper, and I cannot do memory foam it’s way too firm for me so we want the split king. I’ve looked up countless brands, every brand seems pretty good and then I see threads saying it’s the worst mattress/company of all time. I’m going insane trying to decide on one.
Sleep number is the only one that I can’t generally find terrible reviews for - most people seem to like those beds for a long time or so it seems. Main downside being how pricey it is. Anyone have thoughts on sleep number split king or any other brand recommendations?
I thought I would provide an update on timing for those interested.
On Monday 3/13, I ordered both
On Friday 3/17, I received the two MM Adjustable beds. This is their base model without head tilt, USB,etc. Took out my box springs and installed the adjustable beds. After putting one in I decided that I didn't like the look at the highest level so I removed one section on each o the 6 legs. This lowered it 3 inches and put it right below the current frame.
Today Tuesday 3/21, I got notice that the Titan Beds have been built and shipped via FedEx. They are scheduled for Thursday delivery. Before buying this bed, I had no clue that they made them real time. I could have timed this a lot better.
Brooklinen had a sale on sheets so I bought some of those as well yesterday. Hopefully they ship fast :)
