Classic sports cars for under 10K?
A 20 year old BMW is the opposite of reliable.

I wholeheartedly agree with the list of "Best First Cars (for people that like cars)" by Donut Garage:

With that being said, you might pick 2 of your criteria and settle with the rest of it. A cheap, sporty, reliable, fuel efficient, winter car is alot to ask for.
Maybe a Ford Fusion Sport AWD? Is AWD, "sporty" depending on your definition, and fits your budget.

What are those strict requirements?
Basically any car under 10k right is going to have reliability and/or longevity issues to one degree or another, that's essentially the floor for reliable transportation in the current market. Adding in the desirability of fun and fast means that under 10k you're only going to be getting cars with serious issues like high mileage or a salvage title.
There are plenty of fun and fast sports cars to be had for less than 10k like the Mazda Miata, or Nissan 350z, but they'll all have high mileage and likely need not be particularly reliable or all that cheap to run.

For context, I currently have a 2011 Toyota Corolla with 250k miles on it, and as much as I love it, it’s a lil beat up (been through 3 older siblings and an accident), and I want to get an “upgrade”.
Now I know that Honda and Toyota are the first suggestions because they’re reliable and last awhile, but frankly don’t really want another Corolla and kind of want a better, more sporty looking car. Is there any other options in that price range that isn’t going to break the bank in repairs (BMWs)
Currently looking at Lexus GS and IS series, Subaru brz/ scion, Hyundai genesis, Cadillac ats, and Kia stinger as options.
Thought about maybe a Charger, Mustangs or Mercedes but I don’t really know much about them or if they have a lot of problems so that would be appreciated.
Also I am mainly looking on marketplace, so any advice on questions to asks and things to look out so that I don’t get scammed would be GREAT !!
