Spotify.com/pair is one of the music and song platforms. To activate any device for Spotify, you need to install the Spotify app and sign in.

Step 1. Launch the Spotify desktop app and play a song. Step 2. Click the 'Connect to a device' button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen to bring up the list of available devices. Step 3. Choose the device you want to play the music on. The app will handle the rest automatically.

Rather than playing music directly from the phone, it accesses the servers - leaving your phone or other device free.
