I’ve been with Spotify for years and now I’m ready to jump to Apple Music.
Like most with a history on Spotify, I have many playlists. Is there a truly free method to transferring that data over to Apple Music? I’m not will to pay or SUBSCRIBE to an app to do this.
Sorry if this has been asked many times. I’m new here and I didn’t see this in recent posts.
Iv tried to look around but they either require over complicated github code or money I don't have

I have a huge playlist on Spotify, its a combo of a huge amount of different genres, and I want to start using AM but all of the Tools either cost money or look sketchy, so is there any good transfer tools that are free or cheap
I am trying to move all my music from Spotify to Tidal . I have 500 songs through Tunemymusic, but I have 997 songs in total and 10 playlist I want to move over. Besides Spotify being a horrible company and supporting Genocides , my favorite band Xiu Xiu and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard left Spotify which I'm happy about. I'm still Spotify to listen to my music until I can move everything over. I feel guilty about it but ik I'll move all my songs eventually. I don't have a job atm due to mental health issues, so I can't afford any of the subscription services yet, I just use Spotify premium through my bf , but he moved with me to Tidal, because King Gizzard and the Genocides happening around the world that Spotify is open about supporting and horrible AI, and user interface. I'm just wondering if there's anyway I can illegally or legally transfer all my songs over from Spotify to Tidal. I have a Google phone and a HP computer, I don't own any Apple products , so I was wondering if there's any apps or software I can use to transfer everything. Until then I'll probably use Spotify or just YouTube and deal with the Ads. I'm hoping more Artists move away from Spotify so it's easier to have all our music in one place.
Edit: my boyfriend is also a programmer so any GitHub links would be useful as well. Thanks
This includes albums and playlists
my pregaming playlist is a lengthy one and i want it on my AM. Tips on how to do it for free?
Hello, I've used soundiiz for a while to sync playlists from spotify to tidal without problems, free version allowed just one "automatic" sync but It was possible to set everything and sync more playlists manually until now, they removed that possibility. I've tried tunemymusic instead and it completely sucks, it doesn't read all playlists (22 of 70+) not even pasting links manually.
As of today is there still any working "free" alternative to transfer playlists to tidal?
Most people I know still use Spotify so I usually have to rebuild the playlists they share into my YTM. What's the easiest and cheapest way to do this?
I know there's songshift and tune my music and soundiiz but I'm scared of trying one and getting hacked or something (lol trust issues). What tool is the safest and the cheapest? i wouldn't want to keep spending every time I need to transfer playlists
Is there a free way to transfer my playlists and liked songs from Spotify to Apple Music in 2025?
Hoping this might help some of you that are looking to move to Revanced YT Music like myself.
The code is open sourced on GitHub: github.com/pushan2005/spottransfer
Link to website: spot-transfer.vercel.app
It's using YT Music API under the hood. I'm planning to change this to not need auth headers but right now it's still using the same auth flow as ytmusicapi
More than 1.5K songs are there in my playlist , i want to transfer it to my tidal account.

So basically, I was trying to move some music around and got annoyed that there were not (that I could easily find) any services that actually did this 100% for free. Either you had to leave an app open on your phone for 10+ minutes, couldn’t move more than 500 songs, or could only move like one or two playlists per day. Some how, there was always a limit.
Anyway, I wrote up a little app to do these transfers for free. There isn’t any paid limits in the app at all, you’re free to transfer playlists with as many tracks as you like and may move as many playlists as you want per day. You can close out of the app and you’ll just receive a notification whenever the transfer is done, no need to leave it open.
Swaps might take a little while right now since we have to look them all up, but as time goes on they will be cached and more popular tracks will be discovered instantly. Playlists with mostly popular music will likely be transferred in seconds as compared to the minutes it will take for a bit.
Right now I just integrated Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music, but will add others in the coming weeks. Mind you, I am experimenting a little here with the rate limits of each of these services (and Tidal doesn’t actually offer a public API, so we will see how that goes - had to do a bit of trickery). But I’ll keep an eye on that and adjust as necessary. A lot of searches should already be cached for popular music on the respective services’ APIs, so transfers of music that is “trending” will most likely be quick too.
Yes, there are ads. The only concern that I really have is being able to sustain the servers that run the backend allowing for the transfers to be done in the background instead of having to leave an app open. Also, the little “watch an ad” thing to swap an additional two playlists per hour is in part for revenue but also to try and keep a respectable rate limit on swaps.
I have an Android version pretty much ready and will be submitting that later this week to Google Play, but as of this moment it is only iOS. I also have a web version finished, but until I am certain that the rate limits will not be an issue, I will keep registration there closed. As long as I can see things are going alright, you’ll be able to do this in browser as well as in-app.

Yesterday, I tried to export my Spotify playlists to Tidal. I found many suggestions on reddit and the internet but none of them are truly free. Soundizz won't let you sync playlists without premium, Musconv and Stamp wont transfer more than 10 songs from a playlist until you pay for the premium service. I found a way to do it for free but this method only works for 1 playlist at a time. You may repeat the steps for as many playlists as you want. It's pretty straight forward:
-
Create a free Soundizz account (https://soundiiz.com/)
-
Go to http://www.playlist-converter.net/#/
-
Choose whatever option you want to export from (Spotify, Deezer, Youtube, Soundcloud, csv etc...)
-
Choose your playlist (login with services if you must, the website will then fetch your playlists for you)
-
Convert the loaded playlist to free text; there is an option there
-
Copy the text and go to Soundizz
-
Link whatever services you wish to
-
On the dashboard, click on Import Playlist (top right) and choose From plain text option.
-
Paste your text. Soundizz will identify all the songs. Choose whatever service you'd like to add the playlist to. Size of catalog differs between services so some of the songs might be left out.
