I know you can get them at Shoppers Drug Mart but haven't seen them elsewhere yet — will keep an eye out. And that's $99 CAD total, no tax after that. Compare that to $9.99/month + tax and you'd be looking at ~$135 CAD a year, so by going the gift card route you're saving $36 a year. If you can afford the cost upfront and don't want to split an account a million ways, this is still a decent way to save some money.
I don’t remember which post I saw the comment in, but someone was asking if the $99 gift cards Best Buy still offer will cover an entire year. I just bought one and my account now says I won’t be charged $11.99 until June 2025.
The only thing I’m unsure of is if I will be able to upgrade to Supremium or whatever they end up calling it, whenever it comes out. But tbh, I’m in between jobs rn and I need to save my coins, so I’ll survive.
TL;DR - $99 annual gift cards still valid (for now). Averages out to $8.25/month
EDIT: Best Buy link
I looked online but mostly found American online sales only good for American accounts.
I found that staples will ship me a physical card but the reviews on the site are awful.
How can I gift a subscription to someone?
